I have just received a renew form for my pip today but I have a letter from them saying my awards are ok till July 2022. Has this happened to anyone else and do I fill the form in if nothing has changed and I have no new aids to help me ?? Confused

HI,Your current award has been extended due to Covid because backlogs are huge. The extension is for their purpose, rather than ours and thousands of people have had their awards extended (myself included) this doesn't mean you're not due a review around the time you should have been reviewed before it was extended. Mine was extended until January 2022 but i received my review forms is March.Unfortunately, you will need to fill out the form with all your information about how your conditions affect you and send evidence to support your claim. If you don't have enough time to fill out the form you can ring for an extension and they will gladly give you that. When you fill out the form even though nothing has changed you need to treat it as a new claim.0

As Poppy says, despite getting an extended review date as many of us have done, myself included, if you receive a review form, then you need to fill that in, & return it. Whatever you do, don't just tick to say nothing has changed, give a detailed response instead. The review form is much shorter, so just add extra pages at the end, putting your name & National Insurance number on each page.
