Rang asking for medical form. They asked for bank name and sort code for security. Is this normal?

hi rung up to get my pip assessment medical form , gave them name and national number and post code and address , then he ask for extra security my bank name and sort code is this a usual thing they do .

HI,Yes, perfectly normal to ask those questions when you start a claim for PIP. It's worth remembering that it's not a medical form. It's the "how your disability affects you form" Or PIP2 as it's also known as. The assessment process is definitely not a medical.0
