Hi, can anyone tell me if my wife claims Carers Allowance for me, will this affect my standard rate ESA? Thank you.

    HI,
    There's no such thing as "standard rate" for ESA. For your wife to be able to claim Carers Allowance for looking after you then you must be claiming either PIP daily living or DLA mid/high rate care. She must also not earn anymore than £128 per week after deductions. https://www.gov.uk/carers-allowance/eligibility
    Whether it will affect your ESA will depend whether you claim the ESA as a couple.
