I've been awarded LCWRA. It says I'm getting paid £0.00 on the 27th- what does this mean?

I phoned DWP today and they have said my assesment period didnt start till 15th of sept but my journal says it started in july so surely what i was told today is wrong please advise if u can
Assessment period refers to the monthly period each UC payment covers. You are referring to when UC say your LCWRA started.

The statement in your journal saying the LCWRA starts from July is incorrect, it starts from when you reported your health condition. You need to challenge that.

As the letter you have posted says, and as already advised in this thread, the LCWRA element is payable after a 3 month wait after you report the health condition.

you first reported the health condition to UC in the December to January then the LCWRA element should be payable from the April to  May AP (payable in May).

Not quite. Your LCWRA actually starts from when you reported the health condition. However the LCWRA element is only payable after a wait of three full assessment periods and is therefore only payable from May.

But you told us that UC have told you they are taking the three month wait from July which is why they haven’t paid you. That’s why you have been advised on this thread to challenge UC about this because, based on the information you have posted, UC are wrong.
