I'm in the ESA support group. Got a note on UC journal saying I need to attend an appointment?

I had a medical with ESA and was placed in the support group around 6 months ago. I’ve now been sent a letter via my UC journal saying I need to attend an appointment with a work coach to accept a new commitment and review my UC. Does anybody know why this is? This has me worried. I struggle every day with severe asthma. Any help is grateful. Thanks Phil.

Hi,Claims for UC that were made within the past 18 months were just confirmed through your journal because of the pandemic. They are now sending out appointments for claimants to go to their local job centre for a face to face appointment. You will need to make sure you attend and it will just be to confirm and agree to your claimant commitment, which will be to agree to report any changes of circumstances. The appointment shouldn't last any longer than a few minutes.1
