Anywhere we can sell or give away our walkers, electric wheelchairs, or mobility scooters?

Both my neighbour and I have lost relatives recently and can't find anywhere to take equipment such as walkers and electric wheelchairs/mobility scooters. Is there anywhere we can offer these for free or for sale? In East London

Hi and welcome to the community
You could advertise them on local selling sites
Or donate to British Red Cross who supply most of the equipment , if issued by red Cross there should be a contract number on a sticker on the equipment
Local charity shop may also take them0 -
Thank you Jane, I will check the Red Cross option.0

Welcome to the community @Flyby
I'm sorry to hear about you and your neighbour's recent losses. Are you all holding up okay?
In terms of what to do with the second hand equipment, you might find this page on donating and recycling used disability equipment on our website helpful.
I've also renamed your post and moved it into our aids, adaptations, and equipment category so that other members with advice or knowledge to share will be able to find it more easily.

You may be able to sell them at a local auction. The proceeds could always be donated to a charity.0

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned above or not, but if it was given to you by a particular charity, they will generally accept them back, too. In my case, this was Chailey Heritage, for a long time. It looks like you have all the information you need, but don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions0
