What does an ongoing award mean? Will I have another review in 10 years?

Hi I am so pleased I got my award ongoing on both not sure what that means , do I get review again the date is 10 years they we'll look back at me then dus this mean I well be on the touch reward were you don't need reviewed again sorry about spelling I am dyslexic

I think the ongoing award means it will be reviewed next in 10 years, whether that means you have to complete forms again or it’s just a phone call I have no idea...mine was also an ongoing award for 10 years.0

I found this by googling which is the DWP response to a FOI request regarding light touch review

However it does state that it is not expected it will not involve further assessments, unless something has significantly changed, as these ongoing awards are supposed to be given to people whose problems are not expected to improve let’s hope things are indeed kept to a minimum!Username_removed said:Yup, as it says, no such thing as a light touch review as yet.0 -
