Pip appeal. I missed a call from them saying they need more information. Anyone else had this?

    Your new award will be backdated to start from the day after your last award ended.

    Yes money will be backdated to the day after your previous award ended. Money in bank usually arrives before the decision letter.

    That depends whether you've just claimed and have asked them to back date your claim, in which case it's maximum of 3 months.
    If you've had a work capability assessment and been placed into the Support Group the extra money is paid from the 14th week of your claim.

    hi Thai thanks for the reply I’m on esa but because pip stopped my money dropped but I’ve received a text saying because I’m back on pip they owe me x

    I'm assuming you're talking about the Severe Disability Premium? If so then you'll need to ring ESA to reapply for it. If nothing has changed regarding who you live with then it's backdated to the day after it stopped.
