We have moved into social housing but we have no carpets, can we get any help

Hi,The Government announced a support fund last year and all Local Authorities were given extra money to given extra support for those on low incomes. I'd advise you to contact your local Authority to ask them about this and to see if there's any help there for you. Details in link. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/government-launches-500m-support-for-vulnerable-households-over-winterFailing that there may also be grants but you'll need to have a search for your area. There's a few links here.

Hi @rachel54 - & welcome to the community. There are a few options such as trying a local carpet shop to see if they have any offcuts of carpet, which are usually reasonably priced. You could also look on a facebook page local to yourself, try Gumtree, & lastly Freecycle were goods are often donated. Please see: https://uk.freecycle.org/
