Hi, new on here … Hello…

I had my PIP telephone appointment today at 11am and have just received the text at 4pm saying the DWP has received my written report…
is this quite quick? I read something about auditing and how they can change it…does this mean it hasn’t been audited? Is it a good sign? Any help welcome !x

That’s completely normal. Numerous threads on the forum about this. The assessor writes the report during the assessment and then sends. Only a small proportion of reports are audited.

@calcotti I’m so anxious as it’s for narcolepsy which from what I’ve read is quite hard to get…
    do you think it’s a good sign?x

@calcotti I also have a cyst on my brain causing the narcolepsy so hopefully they will see the medical reports …

It doesn’t mean anything. As already advised, it’s the usual process.

If you’re worried about the assessment you had call PIP tomorrow and ask them for a copy of your assessment report, it’s also a very handy thing to have in case you wanted to do a Mandatory Reconsideration. DWP decision makers do often go with the assessors recommendations, however not in every case. Good Luck.

Requesting a copy of the report isn't always a good idea because it only causes even more anxiety than someone may already be experiencing, especially if the report isn't quite what you expected to read.
When requesting the MR the report is not needed, all it causes is a distraction to what you should concentrate on.
