Lcw assessment

Hey, I have been handing in sick notes from September 2020.... I had my assessment finally December 7th 2021 so well over a year of sick notes... Apparently because of covid things got confused! My question is if I am accepted will it be backdated to December 2020 as that is 3 months AFTER my sick notes started?

    The LCW/LCWRA decision is backdated to the date you reported the health condition (Sept 2020).  However, if applicable, the LCWRA element only becomes from the fourth full assessment period after you reported it, which will be either December or January depending on exactly when you reported your health condition and which days of the month your UC assessment periods cover.

    Okay thank you so much so All in all, if approved realistically I should be looking at approx a year... I just wanted too clarify incase they pulled a fast one! Thank you
