Hello @Shantell18 thanks for joining the community and reaching out with your query. To help our members find it I've moved your post into our Universal Credit category, and edited the title.
How can we help? Is there something you're especially having trouble with in the application?

Thanks for that information. When you claim UC for your son you need to make sure you report his health condition onto the journal then send in fit notes from his GP. This will start the work capability assessment process off. He should then be referred for the work capability assessment after day 29 of his claim. He will then be sent the work capability assessment form to fill in and return.More details here. https://www.gov.uk/health-conditions-disability-universal-creditIs he capable of looking after his own claim? If he can't then i'd advise you to start the claim as if you were him. Once it's submitted, put a message onto his journal to ask if you can become his appointee and this will be arranged by his work coach. This is exactly what i did when i claimed UC for my daughter in January last year.
