Can you work when receiving LCWRA? What's the earning limit?

If you are receiving LCWRA are you able to do a couple of hours work? If so what is the limit you can earn. This is for my son who still lives at home so no partner/housing benefit etc.

There are no limits in hours or earnings. If the type or amount of work contradicts the reasons he is treated as having LCWRA it might prompt a reassessment.

Thank you. He has autism/adhd/Tourette’s/depression/anxiety. He has started going to the gym to improve his mental health and has now been offered a couple of hours work.0

Welcome to the community @purplepeoplepleaser
It's great that he's been offered a job! I hope that this also helps to improve his mental health.
It's good to hear that he's been going to the gym to help improve his mental health, too, as many people find this useful. Has he been enjoying it so far?
Is he receiving enough support from his medical team to manage the conditions he has, including his depression and anxiety?0 -
thank you. He is loving it and it definitely helps with his mental health. The only support he really gets is the GP and us. I have disabilities too so we support each other. The thing I was worried about was if they found out he could do this then they might think he was ready to work and there is a big difference between working a couple of hours a week and having to find and maintain a full time job.0
