Hi, my name is Cas1979! I'm confused on how Universal Credit works

Hi I have never been on universal credits before. Im confused on how it works I just had my medical assessment with them and they have came back and told me that I have LCWRA what does that mean I have tried to look it up but it confuses me does it mean I will get
Universal credits standard £325
Lcwra £343
Do I get both? I am also getting pip surly I wouldn't be getting it all

Hi,
The LCWRA is extra element added to you maximum entitlement. It’s payable from the 4th month of your claim.
PIP is separate and continues as normal.1 -

Universal Credit can be quite confusing when you encounter it for the first time, much like other benefits for that matter, so you absolutely aren't alone in not being sure how it works. Scope have a useful information page here about UC which might help you become a bit more familiar with it.
