Can anyone give me some advice please I got this letter from esa but it doesn't say when I will get my first payment or if I'm owed any arrears. I've tried ringing them but can't get through so I was hoping someone on here might be able to explain what the letter is telling me, Thank you.

It says you have been awarded ESA backdated to 23rd September. You will receive an arrears payment to cover the period from 30th September until now (no money is due for the first 7 days). You will then be paid fortnightly. The only way to find out on what day you will be paid is to ring them (I know it's hard to get through).
Note that although the letter says your award will end on 30th September 2022 if, following a work capability Assessment, you are placed in the Support group your ESA will continue beyond this date.1 -
