Hi @Goliathus73
Welcome to Scope's forum. It is great to see you have joined us. How are you today?
Unfortunately, LCWRA is not my area of expertise. This means I am hoping someone with more knowledge in this area is able to respond to you soon.
I just wanted to respond to let you know that we hear you and are welcoming you!0 -
thank you0

You are more than welcome @Goliathus73. It is the very least we could do to support you. If there's anything else we can help with, please just give us a shout. Hopefully, someone will be able to respond to your question soon about LCWRA0

Hi,There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month of your claim. If it was November 2021 that you reported your health condition then it was reported in the Oct/Nov assessment period. The waiting time would be Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/feb.. LCWRA starts from AP 19th Feb to 18th March with first payment being 25th March. No backdated money is owed. This is assuming you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.0

Okay thanks why is there no backdated money owed?0

Because as i explained here..poppy123456 said:Hi,There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month of your claim.
The LCWRA element is not paid at all during the waiting period. When the LCWRA element is awarded
In most cases, the LCWRA element is awarded after a 3 month waiting period beginning on the day you provide medical evidence. If it takes longer than 3 months to carry out your Work Capability Assessment the element you are awarded will be backdated to this point and you will be paid any amount owing.

As stated above sick notes been going in since 3rd November. The LCWRA element should be added to your payment for 25th March. Unless you're claiming UC with a partner that already has the LCWRA element on your claim.May i also ask if you're 100% certain that you were found to have LCWRA? Or was it LCW? there's no extra money each month if it was LCW. I'd advise you to check the decision letter on your journal to make sure.0

Hi thanks for reply, yes definitely LCWRA but its not been added to this months payment?0
-
My advice is based on the information you've given. Unless that information is incorrect and you didn't report your health condition when you said you did then i can't see any other reasons why it wasn't added to this months statement.Have a look back through your journal to see exactly what date you reported your health condition.0

Then my advice here is correct.poppy123456 said:The waiting time would be Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan, Jan/feb.. LCWRA starts from AP 19th Feb to 18th March with first payment being 25th March. I have done that and they replied:
Hi Terry I can see that you have already been made aware of the waiting time for this. LCWRA is issued automatically there is no procedure in place that allows us to speed us the process of this payment.0 -
Put another message telling them it should be paid this month.
