It will depend on the criteria in your local Authority. In my area a PIP award doesn't automatically entitle anyone to a disabled bus pass. Certain disabilites will qualify in my area for example, a learning disability, been refused a driving license on medical grounds, blind or partially sighted etc etc.
Have a look at the criteria for your local Authority here. https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-disabled-bus-pass

Hi there @skhan95 thanks for your query. Sadly, it sounds as though you don't meet the automatic eligibility criteria for a disabled person's freedom pass, as detailed here by Transport For All, you'd need at least 8 points in the 'moving around' activity for PIP.

However, certain boroughs can issue a Discretionary Freedom Pass to disabled people who do not meet the automatic eligibility criteria. It would depend on the rules under your local council, so I'd encourage you to get in touch with them if you can, to ask about discretionary passes.

A useful list of councils can be found here. I hope you're able to apply for a discretionary pass, and if you have any questions in the meantime, please do let us know.
