Hi I’ve been on uc since 2018. I’ve been putting in fit notes since June 2021 and just received a letter saying I’m eligible for limited to work and work related activity? Can someone please tell me if I get that backdated and when from and if I have child so not single how much that will be ?

Hi,
Having a child and not being single makes no difference to this.
There’s a full 3 month assessment period waiting time for the extra money and it’s paid from the 4th month of your claim from when you first reported your health condition.
When it’s paid from exactly will depend on what date you first reported your health condition and the dates of your assessment periods (or when you usually receive your payment each month) based on the limited information you’ve given the extra £343 per month will be paid from either Oct/Nov.

Hello @reggie123
Welcome to the community, it's nice to see you join us and I hope you are well today.
I'm glad that you've received your eligiblity letter, I imagine that must have been a relief for you. It can be challenging to work out how much you will be owed, and it can seem confusing, but I hope the above reply has helped.
I have moved your discussion over to our UC category, which you might like to browse for related discussions. Additionally, please feel free to get involved across other areas of the community, there are plenty of interesting threads going on!0 -
