Hello everyone I have the awful disability known as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/M.E I have recently been awarded LCWRA for ESA and in a couple of weeks got a PIP assessment which I’m so nervous about anyone else experienced this assessment and if so any useful tips available, don’t the benefits system make you feel your doing something wrong 🤕😕

Thanks for posting @Rach91, and for telling us a bit about your situation.
It's normal to be nervous about the assessment, I know for sure that I have been very nervy before any assessment in the past. I would say that preparation will help to make it easier for you on the day, it might be useful to take some notes of things that you want to mention during the assessment. You could also go through the PIP descriptors so that you can write your notes relating to them.
In the meantime, please try your best to relax and look after yourself, the prospect of the assessment can be more daunting that the assessment itself, so I'm sure you will be okay

@Ross_Scope Thank you again for your helpful information I was so worked up for my Esa assessment when it wasn’t actually that bad, i am going to write some notes to make it easier so hopefully won’t be put off when they ask many questions0

thank you so much il let you know how I get on1 -
In my experience, the PIP and ESA assessments are much the same (I had my PIP assessment on Wednesday). Definitely make notes about how your condition affects you.Rach91 said:@Ross_Scope Thank you again for your helpful information I was so worked up for my Esa assessment when it wasn’t actually that bad, i am going to write some notes to make it easier so hopefully won’t be put off when they ask many questions
And do let us know how you get on.
