    Sorry for your loss. For PIP you must have had those conditions for at least 3 months and expect them to last at least a further 9 months.
    It's not about a diagnosis, it's how those conditions affect you against the PIP descriptors.

    When filling out the form you need to make sure you add a couple of real world incidents of what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you. Include information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.
    Timescales from applying to having a decision is about 10 months.
