I am 63,and just found out I have ataxic cerable palsy.

    Welcome to the community @brian1958 :) How are you doing today? 

    Thank you for sharing with us that you've recently been told you have ataxic cerebral palsy (CP). I can imagine that receiving a new diagnosis a little later in life might have brought up some challenges- how have you been feeling about it?

    A very warm welcome! I have to say that, that is the latest diagnosis for Ataxic Cerebral Palsy (CP) that I have ever been aware of.
    How has life been, and how do you feel about your diagnosis?

    It's nice to know at last what is wrong.Interesting times ahead.
    I try to look on the funny side,bumping g in to things,spiĺing my drinks,it's not going to get the better of me!

I can imagine that it comes with lots of complex feelings, but it’s good to hear that you’re feeling positive. I find that making jokes helps me, too!     Welcome to the community @brian1958 and thank you for telling us a bit about yourself. I admire the attitude of trying to remain positive and see the lighter side of certain aspects of your condition, it's not for everyone but I'm glad that it is helping you manage.
