Housing banding query

Hi I've just been accepted on band 2 (old gold plus band) with my local council due to my health issues & current accommodation inadequate
My query is I have also been classed as over-occupied as I don't have a bedroom just a shared livingroom/bedroom, will this give me any more of a chance when bidding on properties to rent, thanks 👍

Every local authority and housing association is going to be different, the best thing to do is get hold of their allocations policy which will explain how they allocate their properties.1

Hi @Losingallhope, have you had any luck finding your local allocations policy?
Fingers crossed you find something suitable soon.

Hi Adrian, thanks for getting back to me, I did find the allocations policy but not what I was after in it, although I seem to be fairly high (top 25%) with my bids so fingers crossed I'll find something soon, regards Adrian!
