LCWRA. My letter about payment hasn't arrived, should I chase this up?

Hello everyone i received a confirmation letter in my journal about being awarded LCWRA and it said i would receive a letter telling me when i was due to be paid within 7 days but i have not received it, should i chase it up?

    You don't say how long it is since you got the letter. However, going by your other thread https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/89767/lcwwra-backdating#latest you are not due any LCWRA payments until April so there are no arrears due. As advised in the other thread the LCWRA, when due, will come with your normal payment.

    That's not exactly what is says. What it says us "If this means that we owe you some money, we will tell you when you will get it. You should receive a letter in your journal within 7 working days."

    You're not owed any money, so there's no letter to receive.

    That's not exactly what is says. What it says us "If this means that we owe you some money, we will tell you when you will get it. You should receive a letter in your journal within 7 working days."

    You're not owed any money, so there's no letter to receive.
    Oh ok, will i receive a letter telling me when i get paid the LCWRA element poppy? Or does it just show up on statements when its due? Thankyou

    No, as advised you won't receive the letter because you're not owed any money. The extra money will just be added to your statement and your maximum UC entitlement will increase.

    I was awarded LCWRA this morning. I had to accept new commitments and as soon as I did that, the new amount appeared in my payments section (due 4th April). A short while later I had a note in my journal saying that my back payment would be paid on 31st March.

    That will be because your statement is showing. As you’re owed money then your situation is different to the poster of this thread. 
    They aren’t owed any backdated money so there will be no letter to receive as advised.
