Nice to meet every One. I have dyspraxia which causes me to have anxiety. I’m 33 and live with my mum just didn’t realise how very few friends I have locally

A warm welcome to the community from me too @lucyboo :) It's great to have you with us!

Making friends can be difficult, especially as an adult. Joining the community is a great first step. Have you considered joining any social groups in your local area to meet new people? Ones based around an activity you enjoy can be a little easier, as you immediately have something in common with the other people there, and doing an activity can make the conversation run more easily.

What kind of things do you enjoy?

As you've mentioned experiencing some anxiety, I was also wondering whether you're receiving enough support to help you manage that at the moment?

@Tori_Scope yeah I have been looking but with my dyspraxia and social anxiety makes it really hard to do something around people I have never met. I have started volunteering on a Monday for 2 hours at a community allotment feels good. Just I become overwhelmed in social situations
