Hi
I am 57 years old. I have an old disease P.T.S.D  which is due to war. I lived with this disease for years. I can not speak English due to forgetfulness. I get DWP. I am also under the supervision of WDP. I am under a lot of financial pressure. I want you to help me with my energy BILLS PLEASE.

    Thanks for reaching out to us. Sorry to hear you struggle with P.T.S.D due to war. How are you currently managing your P.T.S.D - is this something you feel you could benefit from more support with or that you feel you have currently largely got under control? We are listening to you if you would like to share more with us about this.

    Also sorry to hear you are under a lot of financial pressure. We understand that despite getting DWP and being under the supervision of WDP, you may be under a lot of financial pressure. It is a difficult time of year with increasing costs and this is more a reflection of the situation you are in than you as a person.

    You might find Scope's disability energy support a useful starting point. If you would like any further support with this though, please do just give us a shout. We are here for you. You don't have to face this, or anything else, alone if you don't want to.

    Thank you for your response, it's really hard to manage for daily life with PTSD illness. Recently I've got DWP and I receive just £345 every month and I don't know what level of disability I am agreed with! 
    I want to know what kind of benefits I can use. 
    I would be appreciate for your help.

    Hi @mostafa338 :) Are you currently receiving any support for your PTSD, such as from a GP or therapist? 

    You can use a benefits calculator (Turn2Us) to see what you might be eligible to claim. If you feel as though you need some expert advice, you can find sources of information near you on advicelocal.uk. 

    In terms of the energy bills situation, this is something many people are struggling with at the moment of course. Please do get in touch with the Disability Energy Support service L_Volunteer mentioned if you feel able, as they should be able to talk things through with you and help you to find a way forward.

    DWP administer benefits, it's not a benefit in itself. Are you claiming Universal Credit? Do you claim any other benefits like PIP or DLA? You can't agree with a level of benefit, it doesn't work that way.
