Hi, I'm a mum of a 4 year old girl who is suspected of having autism. I'm struggling to get the right support. In September she is starting school and nothing is put in place. She is struggling with anxiety, stress, hypersensitivity and communication.

Thank you very much. I got in touch already with them more than a year ago. But we are still on the waiting list for the specialists and no real help at the moment :(

Good morning and welcome to the community @Ina it's great to have you join us :) Thanks for sharing a bit about yourself and your daughter, I'm sorry to hear that you're having such a long wait to see a specialist.

As @Teddybear12 has recommended IPSEA is a great organisation to contact to get help and support in place, so I hope they are able to help.

You are welcome to explore the forum using our categories page but you might like to visit our pages for children, parents and families, and autism and neurodiversity to chat to other members with similar experiences.

I hope you find the community a supportive and welcoming place, and do let us know if you need a hand with anything!
