Hi all I’ve waited over 4 weeks for that text to say the report has been sent to dwp and will hear within 8 weeks. It was a renewal but the anxiety I feel is enormous. I’ve rang up and requested a copy of the report. I’ve had 2 assessments previously which were full of lies and went to tribunal so I’m aware of the process it’s just painstakingly long and horrendous on mental health

Best wishes for the outcome @northeast84
Fingers crossed you'll get the decision you're hoping for this time.
It can certainly be an anxiety provoking process. Are you receiving enough support to help you manage your mental health at the moment?0 -
I have a rape crisis counsellor I speak with on a weekly basis so I’m getting enough support
it’s extremely hard when facing decisions because it’s like having to prove your a victim all over again and the reason why you need extra help is through the acctions of another vile person. But fingers crossed it’s all just a waiting game

I'm sorry to hear about what you've been through @northeast84. It's positive that you have a rape crisis counsellor now, though
I hope that you've been finding them helpful!
Yes, I can imagine that having to provide evidence on sensitive topics could bring back some of those difficult feelings. Fingers crossed it'll be worth it. Please do keep us updated.

I’ve received my assessment report and they’ve given me 12 points for daily and 14points for mobility week tv a 2 year review. Will the DM go with this do you think. They have under marked me on one of the descriptors by at least 4 points.0

The report is a recommendation not the decision. They mostly go with it but it has been known for them to go against it. A decision can take anything between 2-12 weels, sometimes longer. If they do go with the report and award you Enhanced for both parts, there's no point questioning the other points because you can't get any higher award, even if more points were scored. All you can do now is wait.1

So my award was a review as my condition worsened. It was a self referral type. And it was from September. Will it start from now or be backdated from September I was previously on standard mobility0

If it's because you reported a change then any increase in your award should be backdated to when you reported the change.0
