Hi I have just lost my partner and I am devastated. Is there anyone out there who is in the same position as me.

    I am not in this position but i couldn't just ignore you. I am hoping some of the others will pick up on your thread/post, some of us pop in and out of the site during the day.

    Hi Sue thank you for your lovely message. I was with him for 28 years and he died in the kitchen. He was only 63 and had a stroke and heart attack. I know you are not in the same position but thank you for your message.

    Thats okay that must of been an awful shock for you. 
    As it been long since he pasted darling.

    I'm very sorry to hear of your recent loss @Mongout0000. I won't pretend to know what you're feeling, but I can only imagine that losing your husband after 28 years together must be extremely difficult to deal with. 

    I hope that another member in a similar position will be able to reach out so that you can support each other. 

    Do you have any other family or friends that you can lean on for support during this challenging time? 

    You might also find it helpful to get in touch with Cruse, who may be able to help you work through your thoughts and feelings a little bit.

    Hi and welcome to the community 

    I am so sorry for your loss and can only imagine how devasting this must be 

    I'm not in this situation but lost my dad 13 years ago very suddenly so have witnessed my mums grief after they were together over 50 years 

    I hope you have support from any family members . Grief affects everyone in different ways and it takes time just take it one day at a time
