I've been awarded LCWRA recently, I've been advised it will be backdated to my first sick line being sent in, can anyone confirm and how long can they go back, thanks..

That's not correct. There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition. It's not paid at all during the waiting period. When it's paid from will totally depend on what date exactly you reported your health condition and the dates of your assessment periods (or when you usually receive your payment each month)0

Strictly it is correct that the LCWRA status is backdated to when the health condition was reported, however the extra money in the LCWRA element is only payable after the waiting period, as described by poppy.0
