Is ESA affected by dependents?

I mean do people with dependents get extra ESA?

    No. Child element of Universal Credit or child tax credits are for children. If you don’t currently claim tax credits you can’t start a new claim. It would be UC you would need to claim. This would end any Income Related ESA you may already be claiming.
