Low back pain at night

I've been suffering low back pain for the last month. Every time when I go sleep I wake up at 4 in the morning due to pain.
Tried to change the bed and matrass with no luck.
During the day no pains.

    Hi,
Unfortunately, we are not medical professionals so we won't be able to give you any medical advice. I'd advise you to speak to your GP and hopefully they will be able to help.

Sorry to hear this @jonny10, there's nothing worse than a rough night of sleep. Especially if it happens every night.

When you say you changed the mattress, did you change the type of mattress? I used to have quite a firm one which didn't really work well for me at all so when I came to buying a new bed I went for one that was more soft. Bedding can be part of the issue but of course if you do believe as though you've done all you can in that regard then visiting your GP is a good option as suggested above.

My general practitioner told me to lay on my side and put a pillow between my knees which takes some pressure off my spine so I could get more sleep.   At first it didnt help, but when I discussed it with him, he said try a thicker pillow or a thinner one until something feels comfortable.  Dont just give up.   I bought a new pillow of different size than I had at home, and it has eased my pain enough that it helps me get more sleep.  You might ask your doctor if he/she thinks this might be helpful or not in your own situation.

Really pleased to hear the GP's advice has helped you to get more sleep @TiredofPain7. Thanks for sharing your tip.

I am sure our community will find it helpful. It might be helpful even if the same advice isn't helpful but speaking to their GP is.

How are things with you at the moment? I hope things are well but if you need anything we are here for you  :)
