in Start here and say hello!
I have a 2 year old with quadriplegic CP and I am reaching out to get all the support I can so she maximizes her potential.

I am wondering what I should expect of OT, PT, speech therapy and how to maximize the services these professionals provide.

    Hello @DNO and a warm welcome to the community, thank you for joining and sharing a bit about yourself and your daughter.

    It's difficult for me to really answer your question directly, and as someone with CP myself I would say the focus should certainly be on supporting your daughter to access and engage with things she gets the most joy from.

    Hopefully everyone you work with will be on the same page, this support is not about being 'fixed', but about managing the condition long-term. I would also say that if you ever have concerns or questions about anything OT's, PT's or speech therapists suggest, then there is no harm in seeking a second specialist opinion.

    I'm sure my colleague @Richard_Scope can also share his thoughts with you as our CP Information Officer  :)
