Hello, I live in Scotland, and unfortunately my review was actioned before I was/will be changed across to the Scottish Social Security. I called to ask if I could be updated about the stage my review was at, and I was told it has been passed to this new company, Independent Assessment Service, who are supposed to be different from Atos. Yes, unfortunately like a lot of people, I’ve had some really really bad experiences with Atos, and was wondering if anyone has had an assessment with this new group. I have read up on them, but words on a website mean nothing unless they have been updated by claimants. So, any insights would be appreciated. Thank you all and stay safe.

Independent Assessment Services have been doing PIP assessments for quite sometime now. I've had a few PIP assessments with them for both myself and my daughter. Can't say i've ever had any issues and always found them to be polite and helpful, yes, i did say helpful.
Remember, you're asking on an internet forum so you may not get the answers you would like because you'll mostly only read the bad stories.

Independent Assessment Services are just a change of name for Atos.
From the website "Independent Assessment Services delivered by Atos".

@poppy123456, thank you for your reply. Yes I know everyone’s has different experiences and opinions, I was trying to get a rough idea on them. I didn’t know they were still Atos, but just a different name, hopefully it will also mean better assessments. Thank you again.,

Hello everyone, I’m so sorry I haven’t been on lately and I hope that you’re still staying safe and well as you can be. I haven’t had a few good months. I lost one of my brothers and then 5 days later my big sister suddenly died and then 2 month later my sister in law suddenly died, and I was also dealing with my Pip renewal. The only good news now, is despite a hour and half phone consultation I was awarded full pip for both categories. Now waiting for the move over to the Scottish social security, which should, hopefully go smoothly. I urge anyone who is applying for Pip, please take advantage of the wonderful, helpful advice you get on here. And if possible, get some help filling it in, or if you do want to do it yourself, then please follow as much advice from here as you can. The biggest thing I learned was to put, because, I believe without that word, I wouldn’t have got given what I did. The massive help and advice, I can never say enough thank yous. Take care and stay safe everyone
