    Morning all my day is doing laundry get bins ready for bin day tomorrow, tidy house. I'm doing everything slower today   my back is like just try it lol.  At moment cup of tea with vine show

    I just filled up with petrol and it cost £61 for my little car. I was paying £35 a while ago!!!

    Wow that's a big leap @66Mustang brings the whole cost of living crisis into perspective 

    The trouble is I can't find a dentist that is accessible apart from one that will cost £60 return in a taxi 

    @Teddybear12 what do you have done to your nails? I love some of the nail art

    Just paid £45 for 23.5 litres of fuel. Won't be going anywhere soon!

    Just started spitting rain when pegging out, left it out as it's forecast dry afternoon. I'm really tired today and using ibrufen gel on my back.

    The £35 was during COVID when it was £1 a litre but yes big leap. Doesn’t just affect car drivers but affects everyone because products are transported by lorry and they pass the cost onto the customers.

    @janer1967  oh that’s a pain, you would think as medical professionals most dentists would be accessible

    Hi all bit of a bizi day - Father in law went into another nursing home yesterday, most of his stuff has gone missing already ha ha - was mainly pj's and his cosmetics - but it's still a pain.
    Had my hair cut and trying to play catch up with my notifications - still not working for me so have to keep refreshing.
    Glad you are all okay any way except Sandy's back, you thought it would play up after yesterday. xxx

    @Teddybear12 I've had mine done a few times bur leave them and ens up picking them off which then ruins my nails 

    I am thinking of having them done for my holiday

    that's so sad it makes me wonder why someone would steal pjs and cosmetics and if they don't have their own why not? Like is no one looking out for or caring for them either? 
    That's really heartbreaking. :(

    If your father in law settling in okay though?

    It's a common thing with Dementia - fingers crossed he settles in this one he only lasted 8hrs in the last home they tried him in.

    Yep that all we want/need for him to be settled @Biblioklept although this home is further away then we wanted but hey ho it's a struggle to get places at the moment.

    Hello everybody

    I have only just got up. Lazy I know but I'm home alone until the afternoon and when that happens I tend to stay in bed in the morning as it uses some of the day up and makes it easier.

    @66Mustang don't worry I've only just got up I did wake up earlier and had cuppa as I was expecting a parcel but fell back to sleep 

    I was awake a few hours in the night tho
