Non dependants. How will this affect my housing benefit?

Hi i currently recieve esa enhanced care and mobility my partner lives with me my 2 children aged 21 and 22, my son has been offered a job full time my daughter wants to move in with her boyfriend how does this affect my housing benefit?my rent is 550 i pay £50 per month myself already.thanks

    If your daughter moves out and you're privately renting then you will only be entitled to the 2 bedroom rate of local housing allowance. You find out what that is here. https://lha-direct.voa.gov.uk/
    If you're renting from social housing and her moving out means you have a spare bedroom then your rent will be reduced by 14% for 1 spare bedroom or 25% for 2 or more spare bedrooms.
    You will need to report the changes.

    Hi thank you i thought i was protected because of pip daily living i recieve 😕 might need to think of moving then.and if my son starts a job?thank you.

    Yes you will have no non dependent deductions because of your PIP daily living claim. If your daughter moves out this will have nothing to do with non dependent deductions. This will be because of being entitled to 1 bedroom less. (if privately renting)
    If you moved house to a different local Authority then you will need to claim Universal Credit for help with any rent, this will then end any Income Related ESA you're claiming.
    If you moved within the same local Authority then your housing benefit will continue.
