Hi,
I receive universal credit and standard daily living for PIP.
Getting confused between carers element and carers allowance, am I able to claim any of these for myself? Or can I claim both or are you even allowed to claim it for yourself? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the community
You cannot claim any carers for yoyeself
If is for someone who provides care for you for at least 35 hours a week
As often these carers are friends family and unpaid carers so the carers element gives them a small amount of benefit for caring responsibilities0 -
Okay thanks for your help0
