I'm on LCWRA. Am I entitled to childcare costs?

Hi everyone, I am currently on lcwra, single and have an 11yr old, my childcare provider advised that I am entitled to childcare costs.   I’ve tried to research but not quite clear on how to go about it. 

Does anyone out there know if I am entitled and how to go about applying for childcare?

    That's not correct. For UC Single parents can also claim childcare costs of up 85%, capped at £646.35 for one child. Of course they need to be working to claim this. However, they need to pay the childcare costs upfront and then claim them back.
    The childcare you pay for must be provided by a registered or approved childcare provider.
    There's no childcare costs available directly through an ESA claim.

    Although there was no mention of them working. I just assumed they were because they asked about childcare. As you know people do work when found to have LCWRA.
    I always find only being able to edit with an hour of posting very frustrating.
