hi, today a good friend of mine went to extraordinary lengths to help me fix my car. I was amazed how he endured the heat and wouldn’t give up until it was fixed. Afterwards I asked him how much he’d like for helping and he said no payment was due, just done out of friendship.
( It took five and a half hours!)
Have you ever had a good friend go that extra mile for you?

That was very nice of your friend to do that. Yes, i do have a very good friend that i've known for 24 years, that helped me so much in the past. When my children were a lot smaller i was going through some extremely difficult financial times and some weeks i couldn't even afford to put food on the table. Didn't even have any shoes to put on my feet. She bought me shoes, clothes and gave me money weekly to feed my children. I had no family so she was the only person i had.I spoke to her today and arranged a visit to Wales later in the summer to see her and i can't wait!1

Yes I have 1 person who I consider a good freind, when my boyfriend was dying in hospital, she came to sit with us and wouldn't leave until after, then stayed at mine when I couldn't sleep well because of it all. I would do anything she needed to repay that.1

Yes @66Mustang And it’s not the first time he’s helped me out, in fact he’s the kindest person I’ve ever known. 🙂0
