Surely with a fit note that says 'not fit for work' I shouldn't be hounded to look for jobs?

    @Denbat07It's just so unfair. I seem to have more uc and restart appointments now than I did before I started putting my fit notes in? I had a uc appointment on Saturday and I mentioned that the girl at the restart scheme was hounding me. The advisor said he'd have a word with her so I now wish that I hadn't mentioned as I have an appointment with her Thursday and then a uc appointment Friday! These people are going to cause a lot of mental health issues for people already suffering physical health problems 😕 


    I am sorry your having to go through all that with the job Centre, seems unfair really.😢😢

    I wouldn't mind if it was phone calls  but they show no empathy at all. I do understand its their job to keep in touch, but  they overwhelm me with things I have to do. I just find myself in a difficult situation at the moment and feel helpless with nowhere to turn......

    I can hear how overwhelming it is when people contact you regularly with things to do @Denbat07. Is there any way you could mute the notifications until you want to check? 

    I find muting notifications can sometimes reduce the pressure - especially when they are not showing the empathy you need and deserve. What else helps you when you feel overwhelmed?

    It sounds really tough that you find yourself in a difficult situation at the moment and feel helpless with nowhere to turn. Do you want to tell us more about that?
