@Biblioklept what is it about phones that you don’t like or aren’t able to handle? I’m asking as I don’t speak on the phone either. I did manage a few minutes to my support worker and build on that to a just under 15 minute call but that’s fizzled out now that I don’t have the support worker anymore.
Having a go at basic plumbing/mechanics etc. first or paying someone straight away?0 -
No, I just use any cup.
Motorways or smaller roads?@Biblioklept Yes that makes sense. I think for me it’s a few different reasons that individually would not be such a bother but they all add up.- I’m very rarely on my own even at home and I don’t like talking to people when others can overhear my conversation.
- I’m worried with my obsessive thoughts as you can just cut the person off by pressing a button and I’m worried I will do that.
- Like you said, I find it easier to type, or even speak in person, as you can think about what you want to say. Often when I did talk on the phone the other person would say “are you still there?” when in real life they can see I’m just thinking.
The facial expressions thing doesn’t bother me so much but I understand what you mean about that.1 -
Hand wash. A dishwasher would be nice but we don’t really have anywhere for it and it’s an expense!
Deodorant or just washing? (Or both?)0 -
