Creating a sensory garden

Hello, I am a support worker who works as part of a team in supporting people with learning disabilities. We are planning to create a sensory garden with the people we support, and make it a delight for the senses, as well as being wheelchair-friendly too.

So far we've had ideas for a colour changing water fountain, seat-height planters and herb garden, decorative wind spinners, and brightly coloured garden ornaments.

Have you ever visited a sensory garden? What parts of a garden do you enjoy most?

    This sounds like a lovely project to be working on @elph :) 

    For me, in a garden I'd appreciate somewhere to sit so that I can admire the views :)
