Hello, newbie here. Can anyone point me in the direction of some examples of mandatory reconsideration requests please? General tips welcome too.
Thanks in advance.

That will depend on each individual person and how your conditions affect you.
You should state which descriptors you think apply and your reasons why. Include a couple of real world examples of exactly what happened the last time you attempted that activity for each descriptor that applies to you.
Add detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were.
You should aim for at least half an A4 side of paper per descriptor.

Welcome to the community @mrbrightside :) Nice username!

I can see that poppy123456 has already given you some helpful tips on this. You may also find Citizens Advice's page on PIP MRs helpful, as it contains some information about the process and how to get started.

How are you feeling about requesting an MR?

Thanks Tori. Not confident, as I've read on here several times that the success rate at MR isn't great. However I got 4 points. And they've said in their report I can wash & bathe and dress "unaided" and I can't, despite saying such at assessment (which I'm waiting to be sent to me). I'll put every effort into MR and hopefully get another 4 points, at least. I'll check out that link too, thank you.

It's not too high unfortunately, but you can take it further if you still don't get the award to which you feel you're entitled after the MR @MrBrightside. Let us know how you get on :)

Another thing I thought of is that some people find it helpful to keep a diary to record the challenges they face in relation to the descriptors. Citizens Advice also have some information on this.
