Student Support Grant?

Hello - my son has epilepsy and PIP for same. He’s applied for Uni - although likely to take a gap year given diagnosis was recent and seizures still not responding fully to medication etc.
Trying to be organised, he applied and has been awarded DSA, which is great but someone’s also mentioned Student Support Grant.
We’re in Wales and I can’t find out much about it.

I’m not sure he’s eligible, if means-tested, as both I and my husband (his Dad) work but as there’s so little info would appreciate any advice?
