Why do these cost more than full sized bottles?

I don't mean more per millilitre, obviously that would be the case.

I mean that a small bottle literally costs more than a whole normal-sized bottle.

Example: my mouthwash is 99p for a 250ml bottle. A 100ml travel sized bottle is £1.50.

My shower gel is £1 for 250ml and a 50ml travel sized one is £1.50.

Anyone know?

    Maybe that’s true!!

    I ended up just buying normal ones!

    Yes, it does seem strange! I suppose it's for the convenience. Like 500ml drinks can cost more than the 1 litre versions.

    I have refillable small bottles that I fill with my usual toiletries if I'm going somewhere.
