My son 16 has just had his first pip assessment for autism and adhd. She didn't ask much as she had most evidence from psychology etc all i was wondering was if the assessor says that he doesn't qualify would I hear straight away or would it still go to a case manager. Never sure how this bit works

    The only person that can make a decision is a decision maker from DWP. Now the assessment is complete a report will be written and returned to DWP. They will then look at everything you sent and the assessment report, then make a decision.
    Timescales for decisions are between 2-12 weeks.

    Thanx like I said wasn't sure on that bit. She didn't ask many questions about him so just hope he gets it.  They had both his reports from his autism and adhd assessments there that have just been done. So know most of what his needs are . It's such a long process and so much harder to do than when I did my pip forms. I found   them so easy with my disabilities. I'm not sure why when they are the same questions

    Same. I once applied for myself six years ago. I had to tell them exactly why I had a tumour on my left leg, endometriosis and mobility issues due to that. I found it necessary to sip a glass of white wine as I completed the application form by hand and answered each question that evening. Telling them about myself hurt.
