PIP & Cost of Living
Morning - just got off the phone to DWP re: PIP and Mandatory Reconsideration.
Advisor told me that son should be eligible for Government's 'Cost of Living Support Package'. I didn't really know anything about it and she told me it should be £650 - two payments of £326 in July and £324 in the Autumn.
However, I've looked at the gov.uk pages and it appears that as he only gets PIP - he doesn't claim any other benefits (yet) as he's just finished A levels and hoping to go to Further Education - I don't think he'll be eligible? I think the amount solely for PIP only claims is £150?
Can anyone confirm is this is right as I'm not very benefit-savvy; PIP is the first one I've helped son claim for. He or I don't receive any other benefits (I work so am not eligible) and he's been in full-time education until now, having just left school.
Thanks in advance for all help and advice, as ever.

Biblioklept said:@mary123 they haven't released the criteria for the autumn payment yet or the eligibility periods and stuff. If he doesn't go into further education putting in a claim sooner is probably best so he might be entitled to the next part
I might be wrong, but I thought payments were related to a specific date i.e. only eligible if you are claiming xxxx on this date xxxxx
