Hi, I had my pip assessment on the 4th july, then received a message on the 8th saying they'd received my written report and to wait for a decision in 8 weeks. Yet today I've had a message sayin they've not yet made a decision and will write with a decision. Do everyone get this? Many thanks

They have started sending more text messages with updates. It’s probably to stop people ringing to ask if a decisions been made yet. Once a decisions made you will receive the letter in the post. Timescales anything up to 12 weeks sometimes longer.Although DWP told you 8 weeks, timescales are only ever a guide.1

Ah thank you, wasn't sure if that meant it wasn't going to be in my favour with them saying haven't made a decision yet. Its my first time applying so this is all new to me. Hopefully hear something in the next few weeks. So anxious waiting!

The text means exactly what it says, no decisions been made yet. Yes, it's perfectly normal to feel anxious while waiting for the decision.
