Hello everyone, good news I was expecting a phone consultation last April 2021 but as my condition was stable and Covid was rampant I thought the main hospital must be overwhelming with the covid issues. Well my condition had worsened so contacted my hospital only to be informed they forgot to follow up consultation so I will need a new referral. After speaking on the phone consultation process I was referred quickly going this Thursday to a private clinic that does NHS and private patients. My surgery is using the Vivi doctors phone consultation service when needed. I had one 11am Friday and my prescription was emailed to the pharmacy and delivered 1400hrs that’s service can anybody beat that.

Hello everyone, just to give everyone a heads up your council could be next. where I live in Wiltshire our county council is contemplating charging Blue Badge Holders for using council owned car parks.  They had a consultation earlier this year news to me as not published online or by emails to those signed up to receive them.  No posters in car parks warning this was being discussed nothing I just happen to see it on a local news fee I get. So this could be a national thing as other  councils have implemented this to generate more council income.

Thanks for sharing @wilko I know it varies across the country, but I'm sorry to hear what's been proposed for discussion where you are.

As this stage nothing is decided, so hopefully it'll be overturned. Do keep us updated if you hear more, and let us know if we can help with anything.

Hi Alex, I’ve had two replies from emails I sent to local council members who both testified that it was the conservative members of the council who voted through the plan to charge blue badge holder for parking in council car parks. So we will be paying for our disabilities and inabilities.

How frustrating and unfair @wilko :(

Personally I wouldn't mind paying for parking if the do away with the bb charge and if it makes savings to keep council tax bills down

It is more important to me that I can use the space for extra room and closer proximity

To be fair I don't use mine that much maybe couple.times a week but understand the cost for those who use them often

You have to pay for parking in Plymouth, no exceptions.  The council does, however, allow you 1 hour extra from the end of you ticket.  If you buy a 1 hour ticket, you can stay for two.
