Sick notes were sent in for same condition. My job advisor told me to do this in case I lost tribunal, so do you think it’s worth me trying to get the backpay.0
-
It should be from the dates previously advised. If they don’t then you can request the MR.0
-
Ok thank you, I have a telephone appointment with cab on Monday. Will definitely be doing an MR. Much appreciated.0
-
If you’ve only recently had the Tribunal decision then it can take several weeks to receive any money owed. Have you actually had a letter on your journal regarding when it’s been paid from?0
-
Yes, only being paid from June this year.0

How are you feeling about this @janch63? We are here for you if you would like to discuss this further with us0

I’m waiting on a team leader getting in touch, been talking to cab waiting on a benefits expert to ring, not letting this go it’s wrong. I asked for an explanation but didn’t get a straight answer so asked in journal for someone to please explain to me why I haven’t had backpay from sick notes. that’s when they said it has been passed to a team leader. So waiting for them to get in touch. Really appreciate this thank you.0

All you can do is request the MR as previously advised. Timescales for MR decisions is 2-12 weeks. Can't advise with the person on social media because i have no information about their case. There could be many reasons why someone hasn't had their claim backdated.

They told him was because he wasn’t awarded lcw.0

It’s ok , just told him I would try to find out for him as he struggles to use phones other than to talk on them. Will ask cab on Monday if they could give him a ring. Thanks anyway.0

It's kind of you to help them out like that @janch63
Let us know how you get on with Citizens Advice.

I agree it's kind of you to try to help them. It's just very difficult to give advice without knowing all the exact details. If you can give them the link to scope they could join theirself and then post their question here. No phone calls needed.

It’s the texting and writing posts he struggles with, my friend told me about his post and because it’s a bit similar to my problem I said I would ask a few questions for him. The only difference with his is he wasn’t awarded lcw.0
