Good morning everyone, a friend of mine had a telephone assessment last week, but still hasn't received text message to say it's with the assessor, when I had mine I got a text message the same day saying they had received my assessment, should they be worried.

Oh and sorry can they ring them and ask if they have got it.0

It may be the case that your friends assessment report has been chosen for audit. This is nothing to worry about, it simply means the assessment provider are checking the report meets certain standards.
They also may not get a text at all, it depends on things such as if they have their mobile number etc.
Once the report is returned decisions take between 2-12 weeks but may be longer.0 -
It maybe in an audit, which is one of the reasons why it can be delayed being returned to DWP. If it is in audit then it just delays the decision making process because a decision can't be made until it's returned. It's nothing to worry about.0

As advised, then it's probably in an audit.
